In September 2017 I have been commissioned by a high end fashion company to put together a trio album of brand new compositions, for their show during Milan Fashion Week.

This is a collection of originals that I created in a week’s notice, from writing the music to recording it in the studio a few days later.
Think of it as a soundscape for a mellow, relaxing, intimate moment. A different me, perhaps less angular than usual, easy to listen to.

Bandmates Clovis Nicolas on bass and Jochen Rueckert on drums contributed with their mastery to make this musical experience a special one.

So many great pieces. Beautiful playing. Take "The Hard Balance", fabulous horn playing. Roman Filiu sounds like Wayne Shorter on Miles Davis’ Circle. Lot’s of quiet emotion here. I fully recommend this sweet creation. Gracias a Marta y todo el grupo. Espero que vengan a Seattle algún día. Check out Dear Worthiness, what great alto work. Takes a great bandleader to get such subtleness. Marta reminds me of early Hancock with her lyricism. Solid pulsating bass and drums. rkburk
